Famous as a filming location for Top Boy, Number 1 Cafe delivers more than just TV vibes. The sausages are standout - properly seasoned and well-cooked. Bacon and hash browns are consistently good, though the eggs are just your standard, average fry-up. The coffee is average with not much choice, so do not expect anything fancy, but it does the job. The decor is nice and feels well looked after, and it is often pretty quiet with plenty of tables available. Service is straightforward and quick enough for a weekday breakfast. Note: they accept card but have a clear preference for cash.
